In 2011, amidst the chaos in Rome where the government teeters on the brink of collapse and the Vatican faces a critical crisis, the city's squares are engulfed in flames. In this tumultuous setting, Cinaglia (played by Filippo Nigro) attempts to continue the work started by Samurai, collaborating with Badali (Emmanuele Aita) to manage the city's criminal activities. They receive crucial support from Adelaide (Paola Sotgiu) and Angelica (Carlotta Antonelli), who lead the Anacletis, along with Nadia (Federica Sabatini), who assists in overseeing the management of Ostia’s town squares.
